Dixi is a South Asian singer/songwriter reshaping global music—blending Hindi and Punjabi roots with R&B, Pop, and EDM to create a fresh, genre-defying sound. She began her musical journey playing piano by ear and training in both Indian classical and Western dance styles at just three years old.

Inspired by Shreya Ghoshal and the matrons of Bollywood throughout her childhood—and Pop and R&B queens like JoJo and Ariana Grande in her teens—Dixi found her voice and sound through college a cappella. She later opened for her idol Shreya Ghoshal, a defining moment that set her on the path as a versatile artist with a soaring vocal range.

Since 2018, she has released viral mashups and original music that fuse Eastern and Western sounds, leading to collaborations with producers such as Bollywood legends Salim-Sulaiman and UK hitmaker Rishi Rich. Her mashup “Yeh Kya Hua / So Sick” with DJ Juggy went globally viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels, inspiring thousands of videos and earning over a million streams. Her debut EP ‘Sounds Like’ has garnered worldwide attention with versatile elements that transcend borders and genres.

One of the pioneering South Asian female artists in North America to make waves on social platforms, Dixi continues to inspire younger generations—while balancing her dual career as a pediatrician and solidifying her place as one of the most influential rising global artists.
