Rimshox is a talented music producer from
Newcastle Upon Tyne. Starting out in his bedroom with just a laptop, he has spent many years mastering his craft and exploring different sounds from across the world.
He has teamed up with various artists in the British Asian music scene which include the likes of TaZzZ, Raxstar, Nish & Bilal Shahid to name a few. This has led to popular hits including BBC A-Listed ‘London’ and ‘Meherbaniyan’ which peaked at #25 on the Official Mainstream Singles Download Charts.
While his collaborations are plausible, Rimshox is equally known for his instrumental work alone. Projects such as “Solitude” and “Electronic-Asia” have led to getting airplay on BBC Radio 1 and being played out at Glastonbury festival, to taking over BBC Asian Network with exclusive mixes and being play-listed inside stores such as Adidas.
From his South Asian & Urban roots, to renowned film composers like Hans Zimmer and pianists such as the late Ryuichi Sakamoto, Rimshox draws upon a wide range of influences.
