Djy Biza is a pioneering, self-taught producer from Soshanguve and Mabopane, widely hailed as a key architect of the Amapiano sound. Known as the "King of Mozambique," he was the seminal force behind the sub-genre of the same name. He co-created the foundational "Broken Beat" technique and is respected by peers as Tatane Biza ("The Godfather").
