Netherlands-born, London-based Dutch Mustard blends dream-pop and ’90s alt-rock with shoegaze influences. Layering abstract drones, psych-infused guitars, and SJ’s dynamic vocals, the sound is both ethereal and intense. 2024 singles Loser and Thank You earned multiple BBC 6 Music plays from Steve Lamacq, while SJ’s session with John Kennedy on Radio X led to a London show for The Season Festival in February 2025. Her debut EP, An Interpretation of Depersonalisation (2022), received BBC airplay and praise from Iggy Pop, followed by the acclaimed Beauty EP (2023). Press support includes The Independent, CLASH, DORK, and a Grammy nod as a female-fronted act reviving rock.
