When Easy Wanderlings emerged on the global stage in 2017 with their soul-stirring track “Enjoy It While It Lasts,” they captivated audiences with an air of mystique. The soul-folk collective, with their laid-back ethos, has since gradually unveiled their artistry, becoming one of India’s most beloved indie acts.
Formed in 2015, Easy Wanderlings released their debut collection, As Written in the Stars, in 2017. In 2019, they showcased their sonic diversity and lyrical imagery with the two-track EP My Place to You.
Their latest EP, Caught in a Parade, released in 2022, topped Rolling Stone India’s Best EPs of 2022 list. With Caught in a Parade, the band introduced a new funk and soul flavour to their sound. The single "Enemy," centered around cancel culture, was featured in the popular Amazon Original film Gehraiyaan, starring Bollywood icon Deepika Padukone. The single "Makin My Move," with its retro funk and disco influences, was listed among the '100 Best Songs of 2021' by Apple Music India.
After having performed at major music festivals in India such as NH7 Weekender, Lollapalooza India and Vh1 Supersonic, the band enthralled audiences in London, Berlin and Paris in 2023.
With more swaying audiences across the world awaiting their soulful tunes, Easy Wanderlings continue to make their mark on the global music scene.
