Ela Ira is an indie-pop project by Singer/composer/producer Elizabeth Boardman. Elizabeth is a classically trained violist from Seattle WA, who is currently based in Berlin working as both a classical musician and pop artist. Her sound combines smooth synth-wav sounds, funky unusual beats, R&B inspired vocals, and lush string arrangements. Her style has been compared to James Blake, London Grammar, Billie Eilish, Banks, Lana del Rey, and Kate Bush. Her songwriting for her other band, White Night, gained recognition when they were nominated for the German Songwriting Award 2018 and when they won the US Songwriting Award 2019.
