The hard rock four-piece Epidemic is comprised of Boris (vocals), Bruce Allan (guitar), Jimmy McDaniel (bass) and Tim Ganard (drums). After brief stints in various San Diego bands, Allan, McDaniel, and Ganard hooked up with the Dutch-born Boris in 2000. Boris had been wandering the globe, playing in several bands in North Africa, Southeast Asia and Central America before he befriended his future bandmates. Once Epidemic clicked, they began playing shows in southern California, and within a year, Epidemic signed with Elektra. Their issued their raw and vibrant self-titled effort in June 2002. ~ MacKenzie Wilson
