From viral X freestyles to Grammy recognition, FAVE is a Nigerian artist pushing the boundaries of Afropop. Her name is drawn from her given name, God’sfavour Chidozie—a reflection of both identity and purpose. She first rose to prominence in 2020, when her soulful, minute-long lockdown videos captivated millions and introduced a striking new voice.

Her breakout single Baby Riddim climbed to No. 1 and earned her the Headies “Rookie of the Year,” while her introspective, emotionally layered songwriting set her apart in a crowded field. While completing a law degree, she released two EPs and amassed over 430 million streams, carrying her sound from church choirs in Eastern Nigeria to stages across the U.S., UK, Africa, and Europe.

In 2024, she secured her first Grammy nomination for Kante with Davido, marking her first track to surpass 100 million streams on Spotify. A year later, her performance of Intentions on COLORS further cemented her global appeal and built anticipation for her debut album.

A defining voice of her generation — FAVE is only just getting started and is guaranteed to take the world by storm.
