Since 1972 Fee Waybill has been the lead singer of the legendary theatrical rock band <a href="spotify:artist:7zfhej6FnVXN9LIXs6dcoK" data-name="The Tubes">The Tubes</a>, and a driving force behind the classic rock hits “<a href="spotify:track:6lnP51cMlqpZ8bwmyVlgvG" data-name="She's A Beauty">She's A Beauty</a>,” “<a href="spotify:track:0IJPu1GTh4qCLu5GDFaHJx" data-name="Talk To Ya Later">Talk To Ya Later</a>,” “<a href="spotify:track:5rJTpBaGWvTaszsNDpAsG5" data-name="Don't Want To Wait Anymore">Don't Want To Wait Anymore</a>,” and “<a href="spotify:track:2QdadVGqkAGPGJMnJWHIcR" data-name="White Punks On Dope">White Punks On Dope</a>”.
Fee just released his third solo album, “<a href="spotify:album:0VP1quZTV1QguKBpCANPUN" data-name="Fee Waybill Rides Again">Fee Waybill Rides Again</a>”. It debuted in the top 10 of Amazon’s new rock releases.
He dances, sings, and acts on the theatrical stage as a member of The Barn Theatre in Augusta MI, the oldest for profit summer stock theater in the US, where he has reprised his role as Frank N Furter in The Rocky Horror Show six times, performed as King Arthur in Eric Idle’s Spamalot and played a leading role Frank Wildhorn’s operetta Civil War.
In addition to his work with the The Tubes, Waybill has written and worked with Richard Marx, Toto, Kenny Loggins, Steve Lukather, Vixen, Emerson Drive and The Foo Fighters. He has released two previous solo albums, as well as recorded voice-overs and books on tape.
He has appeared on the big screen in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Ladies and Gentlemen the Fabulous Stains, and Xanadu, and on the small screen as a guest on David Letterman, SCTV, Divorce Court, and Rock-N-America.
He lives in Los Angeles, where he is working on his second book of poetry and is an avid polo player.
