Los Angeles-based act FLORA FAUNA is set to release their debut studio album in
Fall 2025, marking an exciting new chapter for the band. Known for their soulful
melodies, electronic textures and rich storytelling, Flora Fauna’s music has already
resonated internationally in film, television and commercial campaigns.
Laura Baruch, co-frontwoman and founding member of the indie-pop band Karmic, leads
Flora Fauna with evocative vocals and lyrical depth. Alongside her partner and co-writer
Peter Kastner, Laura has crafted songs since her early days in Los Angeles that offer
solace amid the chaos and noise of modern life, drawing inspiration from nature and
personal experience. With her debut single ‘Our Way Home’ reaching over 1 million
streams, her following continues to grow.
To celebrate the album release, Flora Fauna plans to tour across the USA and Europe,
bringing their vibrant live show to a broader audience. Laura and Peter are joined by an
international ensemble, including Thomas Käfel, Michael Bleiweis and Ewan Wallace
(longtime guitarist with Bonobo). Together, they deliver a seamless blend of precision and
spontaneity, inviting listeners into a rich, emotional soundscape that creates a dynamic
