FUAD is a Malaysian Alternative Indie sibling duo from the (super) quaint suburbs of Bukit Jelutong. Despite the varying tastes in music and 10-year age gap between Lisa Fuad and Arief Fuad, they found a (very) thin line of similar influences and decided to self-produce their music in their very own home. The range of their genres vary, leaning more towards Dream Pop, Alternative Rock, and Twee Pop.
Their debut album Dispositions, is a culmination of tracks with a 'coming-of-age' theme encompassing songs that talk about adventures in life, dealing with loss, as well as personal & social struggles coming into adulthood.
The latest singles Hot Kitchen, Wait and See and Kopi continue to resonate their signature lush sounds with dreamy vocals while also taking a more mature songwriting approach in preparation for their sophomore album.
