Formed in 2014 on Sado Island, Japan, Fujin Club is a pop art project by a group of housewives living on the island. From deep in the countryside, they share a stylish and witty take on everyday life.
Produced by Nozomu Sato (aka M. Lemon), who draws inspiration from his own life on Sado, the group’s songs humorously capture the charm and quirks of island living.
Their sound blends Shibuya-kei and ’80s-style city pop with touches of classical and chamber music. Though the members are busy raising families and rarely perform live, they’ve made special appearances — including two performances in Taiwan — that left a lasting impression.
**婦人倶樂部（Fujin Club）**於2014年成立於日本佐渡島。這是一個由居住在島上的主婦們所發起的流行藝術企劃，從鄉間深處以時尚又幽默的視角，描繪日常生活的風景。
製作人 佐藤望（又名 M. Lemon） 以自己在佐渡的生活經驗為靈感，創作出充滿島嶼氣息與幽默感的歌曲。
她們的音樂融合了 澀谷系（Shibuya-kei） 及 80年代的 City Pop 風格，並巧妙地加入古典與室內樂的元素。雖然成員們都是忙於育兒的主婦，極少現場演出，但她們曾兩度在台灣舉辦演出，留下了深刻的印象。
