GASHI is a genre-defying global force whose story feels more myth than biography. Born in Africa to Kosovo Albanian refugees and raised in Brooklyn after living across twenty-four countries, his odyssey shaped a sound that transcends borders — fusing rap, melody, and soul with effortless sophistication.
From cleaning floors as a janitor to signing with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation and RCA Records, GASHI’s rise is nothing short of cinematic. Along the way, he’s delivered anthems alongside icons like Sting, Travis Scott, Dua Lipa, DJ Snake, and Chris Brown — amassing twelve Gold records, three Platinum plaques, and over a billion streams worldwide.
GASHI doesn’t follow genres — he defines them. As the pioneer of Global Hip-Hop, he created a movement that bridges continents, cultures, and generations through sound.
After parting ways with RCA, GASHI founded his own label, Orca Sound Records, marking a new era of fearless independence with the critically acclaimed Brooklyn Cowboy. In 2025, he returned to his roots with The Killah Whales of Gotham — a raw, unapologetic New York rap statement that captures the grit, grandeur, and glory of the city that made him.
Beyond music, GASHI continues to shape culture. A true polymath, he broke into fashion by producing an entire runway experience for Kith, also is close with the Giorgio Armani team, and launching his own fragrance house and clothing line — merging art, luxury, and street heritage into a lifestyle that mirrors his legend.
