Strange Riffage South of the Equator.
Gods & Punks came together in 2013 when brothers Alê and Pedro decided to gather some friends and jam out the tunes they had composed.
After releasing “The Sounds of the Earth - EP” in 2016, Gods & Punks embarked in what they call “The Voyage Series”, with their debut album “Into the Dunes of Doom” , elected as one of the best Latin American stoner/doom albums of 2017 by La Habitación 235; “Enter the Ceremony of Damnation”, the darker, gloomier sophomore album whose lead single, Transparent Chains, was featured in the March 2019 edition of Classic Rock Magazine UK. In 2019, the band released And the Celestial Ascension, their third release, that charted 4th as the biggest stoner/doom releases of November 2019 in the world. In 2021, their fourth album, The Sounds of the Universe, was released, giving Their "Voyage Series" a conclusion.
After a three-year hiatus, the band is now embarking in a new chapter, with a newly formed line-up, and new songs on the horizon.
