Griffin Oskar is a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and producer. A native of Portland, Oregon, Oskar self-released the track "Hostage" under the name Småland, a nod to his Swedish roots. The success of <a href="spotify:track:7EbsWLCPQ9pjpQf6hYmKYi" data-name="Hostage">Hostage</a> earned him a deal with Republic Records, which released his debut EP in February 2017. He has also written and produced songs for other artists, including Big Boi’s 2016 hit “All Night.”
