Güneş Kardeş is the alter ego of songwriter, producer, visual artist and psych-rocker Güneş Akyürek. After 7 years of working on psych-rock / indie band PONZA Güneş decided to dive deep into his Turkish roots and experimented in his studido "Tarla" to come up with fresh Anatolian rock sounds. First demos were shared with the fellow drummer Uygar Çetiner and demo drums were re-arranged by Çetiner and the two engaged instantly for the releases. Except the drums, all the instruments are performed by Kardeş. The collaboration started at the pandemic days and still going on. The two are also members of the fresh founded Anatolian-Psych band Miskinler and they release most of their tunes from the DIY independent label Tarla Records which was founded and directed by Güneş at 2018.
Nowadays he is working on the upcoming first long play album and also plays bass and sings at Miskinler.
