Güs is the solo project of Brisbane-based producer Angus Hayes. Paying homage to artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:2Q0MyH5YMI5HPQjFjlq5g3" data-name="Nick Murphy">Nick Murphy</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5Pb27ujIyYb33zBqVysBkj" data-name="RÜFÜS DU SOL">RÜFÜS DU SOL</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:2vf4pRsEY6LpL5tKmqWb64" data-name="Elderbrook">Elderbrook</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:2KjAo6wVc9d2WcxdxSArpV" data-name="RY X">RY X</a> the Güs project attempts to evoke deep emotion through electronic bliss.
Güs’ production has been recognised both internationally and at home - having picked up a finalist spot in the International Songwriting Competition, and as a finalist in the Queensland Music Awards.
After a big last two years - which included multiple editorial playlist inclusions, a debut performance at The Triffid, over 750,000+ total Spotify streams and airtime on numerous Australian radio stations - Güs is back in October 2022 with “No Need To Run”.
