Emerging out of a period of stagnation in British Rock, Harrison Affair brought entertainment, personality and flair back to guitar music in the 2020s. Famed for their versatility, songs included indie classic’s like ‘Lint Roll Lover’, ska-tinged diddles like ‘Lemon & Lime’ and the prog-infused genius of ‘Sunday Boat’.
Formed in 2022 by Ben Chisholm (Bass), Luke Curran (Drums) and Will Straw (Saxophone), Harrison Affair quickly established themselves as a happy-go-lucky London-based three-piece. The addition of Max Edmund (Guitar, Vocals) a year later kick-started the groups gigging journey backed by an unfailingly loyal rat-pack of followers. Frequenting iconic venues north and south of the river, the whole of the capital was soon infected with the incurable sonic scourge of Rodent Rock.
Following the release of their debut EP - ‘A Whole Day’s Fun In One!’ - in 2025, HA continued to deliver live performances that were both legendary and refreshingly authentic, featuring gift bags, choreographed dance moves and eyeliner.
Unfortunately - after they were abducted by aliens in Spring ‘29 - none of the band were ever seen again. The original music they made together will continue to influence new generations, but the magic may never be replicated.
