Peaceville Entertainment artiste, Headgurl (Cleo Thelma Orji), is a Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter and sound engineer born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She made her music debut as a member of a female rap group called Dem Gurls at 14. She also had a stint as a radio OAP, hosting a popular teen show "The Let It Out Show" on Cool 96.9FM Lagos.
Headgurl came into the limelight with her single ‘I Gat You’, featuring Korede Bello and she went on to release more music including, ‘Yoga’ featuring Falz. As a song writer, she had worked with top Nigerian acts such as Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Di’ja. Her works have also been featured in box office Nigerian films - ‘Potato Potatho’, ‘Catch-er’ and ‘Gbomo Gbomo Express’.
She released a fan dedicated EP titled Thelmaniacs in 2018 and she scored a feature on Dija’s ‘I Miss You’ single in 2019.
Her single, ‘Set Awon’, featuring Davido and Don Coleone crossed over 100,000 streams in its first month of release.
