Rico “Holla Bak” Goddard began his professional musical career at the age of 15, writing the hit single “Tell Me” for the King of Soca, Machel Montano in 2007. Since then, he has continued to leave his mark on the regional and international soundscape as a critically-acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist.
Hailing from St John, Barbados, Holla Bak is one of the island’s most talented, creative, and energetic entertainers. His collaborators include multi-platinum-selling and award-winning producer Deputy (producer for Rihanna, J.Cole, Rick Ross, Nas, Wale, Ari Lennox), Grammy-nominated mix engineer, Trehy Harris (engineer for Michael Jackson, Ariana Grande, PNB Rock, Mary J. Blige) and the Grammy-nominated Barbadian R&B princess Shontelle.
His music has become a staple in the Caribbean festive arena, with hits including “Too Sweet”, “Sweet Like Ooh”, “Attitude ft. Skinny Fabulous”, “Enjoy ft. Machel Montano” and “Bend Ova Gal”.
Holla Bak is known and recognized for his unique sound and style, and he is currently pushing beyond all limitations and developing a new sound called ‘Beyond’.
