A spirited American indie pop unit built around the talents of Michael Garner (keyboards, vocals) and Dan Chang (bass, vocals), Hunter Hunted formed in 2012 after the dissolution of the duo's previous project, Lady Danville. The Los Angeles-based unit, which has drawn comparisons to artists like Of Monsters and Men, Smallpools, and Passion Pit, wasted little time in getting their soulful and anthemic blend of arena-sized alt-pop and melodic folk-rock into the ears of the general public. Their debut single, "Keep Together," was championed by KCRW, which helped the band sell out their debut show at the Troubadour a week in advance. Appearances at SXSW and Conan O'Brien's late show helped further establish the group as a band to watch, and in 2013 they issued an eponymous debut EP via A&M/Octone. Hunter Hunted's debut studio long player, Ready for You, dropped in July 2015. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
