The Hyland Church Band is a Los Angeles rock band comprised of Hyland Church on lead guitar/vocals , Ray Burke bass guitar/backup vocals, and Dan Welby on drums.
Hyland began playing guitar at age 12, got his first taste of touring at age 15 with Midwestern rock band Ariel, and made his way to Los Angeles from St Joseph, Missouri with Greenworld recording artists Harlow. He was a founding member of DC4, and also songwriter/guitarist for Electra. Ray hails from Quincy, Illinois, and has played with multiple LA bands. They connected with their common Midwestern roots and love of the same style of guitar driven music. Dan completes the power trio, bringing his intricate drumming style, layered with plenty of flare and finesse, and a heavy in the pocket groove.
With their combined extensive experience, Hyland Church brings catchy songwriting , hooks, guitar riffs, sultry vocals, and a full blown out energetic live show.
Their debut full band album releases in 2025. Follow @hylandchurch
