When Ilgen-Nur's solo EP No Emotions was released in 2017, the young songwriter quickly became the talk of the town. Her slacker sound at the time was celebrated as the new coolness in German indie-pop, leading to a European tour and support slots. It was a dream come true for Ilgen, something she had dreamed of since childhood: to take the stage with her own songs! Things moved pretty quickly back then, and amidst all the euphoria, time seemed to rush by for the musician born in 1996 near Stuttgart. A few music awards, features and a debut album later, Ilgen-Nur now presents us with her second album „It’s All Happening“. Four years have passed since her last release and it shows: On „It’s All Happening“, Ilgen-Nur presents a new facette of her musical self. Ambient sounds, acoustic guitars and laid-back rhythms create a unique experience without losing touch with her Indie-Rock-attitude.
