For more than 35 years, X MARKS THE PEDWALK – the band’s name derives from a story by the American Fritz Leiber – has shaped the sound of electronic music. Founded in 1988 by Sevren Ni-Arb, the German project became one of the most influential acts of the 90s EBM scene with hits like “Abattoir” and “Facer.” After a celebrated comeback in the 2010s, X MARKS THE PEDWALK continues to blend dark pop, analog synths, and emotional depth into a unique electro-pop experience. Their 2025 single “Light Your Mind” heralds the new album “Insomnia.”
