First ever contestant to appear on BBC Rap Game UK; J Lucia, has exploded back onto the scene after some time away following the birth of of two sons. Armed with a fresh new sound and vision since teaming up with Paradine Global, J Lucia - inline with his St. Lucian roots - delivers his own take on afro music with his BRAND NEW EP entitled ‘What did I do?’.
After a hiatus he turned with a series of Amapiano fusion tracks – “Geng” featuring Blackboy and Cooyah, incorporating St. Lucian Dennery Segment with Amapiano to create a hard-hitting, fusion banger. And carnival hit, “Tabanca”, which went off during summer 2024.
2024/2025 saw J lucia enter a new stage in his own life as he became a father for the first time.
There is no doubt that he has done a fair bit of living, and has been working hard on his new sound - developing his unique tone, blending cultures and experimenting with different styles and beats, alongside Paradine Global's talented producer PMD.
With his ability to blend English and Creole, J Lucia's well-crafted sound proves undeniable, and his evolution over the past couple of years is evident in his latest releases. As an artist, J Lucia is continuously growing and providing the world with timeless feel-good music.
