Formed in 2014, JADE EYES is an independent female electronic trio, comprised of vocalist/bassist/keyboardist Ling Chin, guitarist Yi Hsuan and programmer Yu Hsin. Their unique music style consisting of retro sounds, enchanting vocals and mysterious ambience not only rendered them nominated for “Best Electronic Album” and “Best Electronic Single” several times at the Golden Indie Music Awards, but also led to invitations to perform at renowned international showcases such as SXSW and Canadian Music Week.
In 2019, after performing at Sofar Sounds again, JADE EYES released their latest EP CRAVE in June. They then toured in 16 cities, played at several music festivals, including the Cactus Music Festival and Sound of Xity, and are becoming one of the most iconic electronic music groups in Asia.
After releasing two tracks "Schrodinger's Call" and "You'll Have It Coming" last year, JADE EYES is bringing another new single "Borderline". On their new single, JADE EYES put out a characteristic road movie with their sticky hooks, soulful bassline, and flirtatious, sweet riffs. Let them take you away and find the love not lost in chaos but at peace somewhere within yourself.
