New single Your Love is a sad one but i'm fine honest!
I grew up in Bristol where I was surrounded by a number of musical talents - Jacob Riddle, Blu Wiley, Slum1 and Natty Reeves to name the lot. All of whom I am still jamming with and supporting today.
I make soulful indie pop. Guitar is where I started music when I was 9 and is also where I start when creating most of my songs now.
I can only seem to write about love and loss.
Artists I aspire to sound like include but are not limited to Matt Corby, Yellow Days and Tom Misch - multifaceted artists and producers who play instruments well and write good songs.
My pursuit of music makes me somewhat of a black sheep in my family of passionate designers going back three generations. That said I do also work as a designer & illustrator and enjoy making all my own artwork and videos.
Songwriting has has led to powerful catharsis with personal mental struggles - this is something I want to share with others. Whilst studying design, I explored the power of music to facilitate positive conversations and attitudes around mental health. One aspect of this project included Busking For Anxieties. I previously released with White Bedroom Records, but now I’m a strong independent artist who don’t need no label (wouldn't mind one though)...
