James Python was born in Rio as the only child of parents who waited eight years for his arrival, entering the world already burdened with high expectations.
His love for music ignited in his early teens after watching a John Lennon tribute video that his father brought home. By 13, James had his first acoustic guitar in hand and began teaching himself to play.
While rock initially fueled his passion, James gradually drew inspiration from artists like Ben Harper, Dave Matthews, Jason Mraz, Eddie Vedder, and later, Gregory Alan Isakov, Ben Howard, Paolo Nutini, and John Butler. This evolution in taste led him to craft songs with a more folk-oriented singer-songwriter style.
After years of personal struggle and filling notebooks with lyrics, James released his debut single, "Waking Up," on September 9, 2022. This release marks what could be the start of an exciting journey in his musical career.
Since then, James has released two more singles and is now gearing up for his fourth release, titled "Now," which will be available on October 4, 2024. Stay tuned for this upcoming track!
