Jason Lancaster is best known as the former frontman for emo pop act Go Radio and before that as the singer for Mayday Parade. Lancaster and several of his bandmates formed Mayday Parade, a six-piece emo outfit that quickly gained enough regional buzz to join the Vans Warped Tour and sign a deal with Fearless Records. Shortly after the 2007 release of their debut album, A Lesson in Romantics, Lancaster, feeling burned out and disillusioned with music, left the band. His hiatus didn't last long and in 2008 he reappeared with Go Radio sporting a sound similar to his previous band's. They made their recording debut in 2008 with an EP called Welcome to Life. By 2010, he was back with Fearless Records who released a second Go Radio EP followed by their first album, Lucky Street, in 2010. The band would make one more album, 2012's Close the Distance, before Lancaster would again call it quits. In 2013, shortly after announcing the break-up of Go Radio, he announced his intentions to make a go of it as an independent solo act. Wishing to spend less time on the road and focus more on his personal and spiritual life, he launched a crowd-funding campaign to help make his first album. Released in July 2014, Lancaster's solo debut As You Are was both more personal and musically laid-back than his previous bands' efforts. Six years after Jason announced a new EP on We Are Triumphant. His first single ''Good Things Only Happen If You're Good'' is out now.
