                                    Jackson Kwadwo Bawuah, also known as, Jay Bahd, is a 21 year old rapper from Kumasi. Born 21st June 1999.
Jay has been doing music for 4 years. His music reflects his view of the environment he grew up in, it being his biggest influence.
Through his music he wants to encourage people to continue to pursue their dreams despite the odds against them just like himself. He’s a great example of this for others to look up to, not just by the youth of Ghana but people everywhere.
Jay Bahd featured on Yaw Tog’s hit song ‘Sore’ which was the one of the songs that got people across the globe listening in to Ghanaian drill music. They call this music Asaka music, a term coined by those at Life Living Records. This is Jay Bahd’s most streamed song to date.
Jay has always had a passion for music and decided to pursue it, joining the label Life Living Records in February 2019. Despite music he also has a passion for boxing and hopes to get involved in the sport one day.
Jay’s future with music is bright, he has the attention of people across the globe, having also just released his song ‘Condemn’ which features other artists from the label. In particular we can look forward to a joint EP with artist Kwaku DMC coming soon.
