(Jens Jordan) – A Pioneer of the Electronic Music Scene
Jens Jordan, better known as Deejay Jordan, began his career in 1987 at the age of just 15. His passion for electronic music quickly grew, and in 1988, he transitioned from behind the scenes to the turntables. From that moment on, he was performing every weekend in Schweinfurt( Bavaria )and the surrounding areas, getting crowds to dance to his vinyl sets.In 1992, he took on a two-year residency with the G&T Group in the Upper Franconia region. But it was in 1994 that his breakthrough came when he was hired as a resident DJ at the iconic Fun Factory in Munich, where he performed for the next four years. This period was pivotal in launching his international career.
In 1995, Deejay Jordan also ventured into music production, securing the legendary Amanda Lear for his first project. Their collaboration, "Angel Love", marked his debut in the world of music production. At the same time, he was regularly performing in the Fun Factory nightclub in Vienna, one of the city's most famous venues, building his reputation as a versatile DJ with a focus on Trance, Hardtrance. But it was 2002 that marked his international breakthrough when he teamed up with renowned DJ Shaun Baker. Together, they produced the hit "Explode", which became a major success not only in Germany but also in countries like Spain, Poland, and the Netherlands. The success of Jordan & Baker catapulted him to the international stage of the club scene.
