Formed by Farid Gharadjedaghi and Rolf Maier-Bode, the Trance/Techno-oriented duo started collaborating on the project Skyflyer in 1993, making their debut as RMB with the vinyl EP &#34;RMB Trax&#34;. After moving from independent record labels like adam &amp; eve records or le petit prince which Farid both helped to built up to Low Spirit Records/Polygram, RMB released their first Top 20 single called <a href="spotify:track:6mdE6vnN7hlJcIJDxcabDD" data-name="Redemption">Redemption</a> in August 1994. &#34;Love Is an Ocean&#34; and <a href="spotify:track:4jEKuFFegCF4o3P57D6PzL" data-name="Experience (Follow Me)">Experience (Follow Me)</a> anticipated RMB&#39;s debut album, titled <a href="spotify:album:05bkCOXmflS63RzwePrK65" data-name="This World Is Yours">This World Is Yours</a> . <a href="spotify:album:1mvV9yDfaIgmPAu2KkhhMM" data-name="Spring">Spring</a> became their first top-selling single soon after in 1996. <a href="spotify:track:73X7Sx2s8wy43VnUdr2H3d" data-name="Reality - Too Short Video Radio">Reality - Too Short Video Radio</a> also hit the top ten in European charts. <a href="spotify:album:7upvMAYDxBA1ObjXMdNY9z" data-name="Break the Silence / Everything">Break the Silence / Everything</a> released through RCA first in the UK were the last singles of the 1997 <a href="spotify:album:6PEPUyfwIsH8zt3olPeSbd" data-name="Widescreen">Widescreen</a> Album.

The RMB name came about as a pun on the very German-sounding name Rolf Maier-Bode. Despite that, RMB has always been a duo since the project&#39;s formation in 1993.
