Jimmie Bratcher is a Kansas City blues-rock guitarist, songwriter, storyteller, and minister who has spent more than 25 years taking his music into places most preachers never go: prisons, biker rallies, bars, music venues, and churches.
His songs live where blues, rock, gospel, and real-life stories meet. Across fourteen albums, Bratcher has built a catalog filled with redemption, humor, hard-earned hope, and electric guitar.
Known to audiences as "The Electric Rev," Jimmie doesn't separate the music from the message. Whether he's singing about broken people finding their way home or simply leaning into a loud guitar, the message is always the same: God is for you. He always has been.
Jimmie and his wife, Sherri, lead Connect Ministries in Kansas City and continue traveling across the country through what they call "The Ministry of Showin' Up".
