Joker's Republic

<a href="spotify:artist:1prVOiNI5T2oJDNORytWfE" data-name="Joker&#39;s Republic">Joker&#39;s Republic</a> is a ska punk power trio from Essex County, New Jersey, proudly serving as the “Elected Representatives of the Joker’s Republic,” (or at least that’s what Austen’s mom calls them.)

Built on high energy performances, sharp hooks and big choruses, Joker’s Republic has earned their seat at the BIG kid’s table in modern ska punk.

The band sharpened that identity with their 2022 album, “<a href="spotify:album:5Sy9YtPzFHiczMlJEIrTcQ" data-name="Necessary Evil">Necessary Evil</a>,” before taking another major step forward in 2025 with their third full-length album, “<a href="spotify:album:7jtE0xbYPrmEefrEqKWFha" data-name="The Hand You&#39;ve Been Dealt">The Hand You&#39;ve Been Dealt</a> ,” released on <a href="spotify:playlist:6GIBolnJi0AEhiRWz2tRta" data-name="Punkerton Records">Punkerton Records</a>. Produced by Roger Lima of <a href="spotify:artist:20oQv3LStCKCjI9oQ0JNha" data-name="Less Than Jake">Less Than Jake</a> / <a href="spotify:artist:3JegvPNbAf7Pt3zrKsgXWu" data-name="Rehasher">Rehasher</a>, and mixed and mastered by Grammy-nominated engineer Eric Taft, the record pushed their mix of ska punk energy, political bite, humor, and heart even further.

Joker’s Republic has brought that momentum to stages across the scene, with appearances at Supernova International Ska Festival, FEST 23 (and 24), Punk Rock Saves Lives Fest, This Is Not Croydon Fest, SPI Fest, and Wake And Bake, along with support slots for <a href="spotify:artist:1PAi6SNPtaiFqTRiTfecFr" data-name="Save Ferris">Save Ferris</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:7sVQKNtdP2NylxMgbNOJMM" data-name="Goldfinger">Goldfinger</a>.

Following THYBD the band entered 2026 with several cover singles produced by Pete Steinkopf of <a href="spotify:artist:3mvTAjG7rcyk7DQzLwauzV" data-name="The Bouncing Souls">The Bouncing Souls</a> who also plays on “<a href="spotify:track:4JxytflVvKkEdCuE0ae4cx" data-name="Tellin’ Lies">Tellin’ Lies</a>.” With more touring ahead, Joker’s Republic and their fans, the “Citizens of the Joker’s Republic,” remain united by one message:
