This 2019 José Manuel, launches his first record as a solo artist from where the first single “Regálame una noche” is released, a song that manages to highlight the unique tone of voice that made the singer known, it also includes the anticipated duet “Los del imperio mexicano” alongside his colleague Ulices Chaidez.
José Manuel fell in love with music since childhood, but it was until 2015 that his luck changed when he managed to catch the attention of the Ángel del Villar through a video on social media.
In 2016 he became the first voice of Los Plebes del Rancho launching his first production “Recuerden mi estilo” under the record label Del Records, an album that became one of the most transcendental of regional mexican music.
Songs such as “Del Negociante” “No lo hice bien”and “Que caro estoy pagando” quickly positioned themselves in the first places of popularity, and were the most played of 2016 according to the billboard charts.
José Manuel was born in Guasave Sinaloa, he’s the oldest of four brothers and like many children of immigrants, he had to grow up with his grandparents in Mexico while his mother was working to support him and his family in the United States.
Apart from playing the guitar, José Manuel also plays the requinto, the accordion, the bass and the tololoche. A musician by profession and a farmer for devotion, because in spite of the prizes won and the great stages that he has managed to step on, his dream is still to go back to the countryside.
