Conceived as a one-off jam in 2012, Los Angeles band JUNGLE FIRE has quickly become an explosive band lighting up sold out dance floors and music festivals in several continents. Since the release of their two 7" vinyl singles and their full-length debut LP "Tropicoso"in 2015 via Nacional Records, JUNGLE FIRE's unique blend of deep funk mixed with Afro Latin rhythms has been a favorite of well known DJs worldwide, including the likes of UK's Gilles Peterson (BBC Radio), Cut Chemist and NPR, to name a few. Jungle Fire's latest album "Jambu" released in 2017, and has debuted on the top 10 of CMJ's World Music charts along with keeping in rotation on LA's tastemaker radio KCRW and KEXP along with many web radio worldwide.
Consisting of musicians who have played, and recorded with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Celia Cruz, Joe Bataan, U2, De La Soul, LCD Soundsystem, among many others. JUNGLE FIRE has played live in the UK, Spain,Brazil, Colombia, NYC Lincoln Center Out of Doors Festival
