After their successful first homonymous album Newen Afrobeat and the popular EP Newen Plays Fela, the band surprise us with an stunning release: LP Curiche, integrating Africa and Latin America in a electric and groovy way. Nowadays their are promoting their second EP named “Newen Plays Fela II”, a new Fela Kuti tribute which includes two of his classic songs performed in a very Newen-like style, including a featuring with Seun Kuti in Zombie and with an special studio version available on youtube.
