I was about to describe my music just now, but I'm realizing maybe there isn't really a single thread tying it all together? I guess I like when things sound crunchy, but soft (in a cushiony way). but actually maybe not. sometimes! I do love nostalgia. I can get dizzy feeling a feeling I forgot about. So that's something I do try to capture in sound, but there's a line for nostalgia too, I try to not cross it. Just so you don't think I make like 'retro', because I don't.
I haven't released music for a few years, I rested and caught up on TV. I also spent that time creating sounds for other artists to use, and I was glad to learn that Taylor Swift, and Lil' Baby, use my sounds in their songs. It felt nice because I got to freestyle while they needed to worry about song arrangements. Anyway, when I was a little ready to come back, things felt a bit chaotic everywhere - it felt like the world can use someone who can start a fire with their hands rather than a musician. I basked in that notion for a few years until recently, when I learned that I was very wrong about that. Music has an infinitely deep value, almost more than anything I can think of. So I felt a bit embarrassed that I forgot that for a minute. Gladly, music itself wagged its tail when I approached it, and I wagged mine. These days I make music with friends in Los Angeles. I often don't sing on my own tracks, but my friends do, but sometimes I do too. Well, that's it about me for now
