KAI is a member of EXO, the group known for re-writing K-Pop history, and SuperM, known as the Avengers and all-stars of the K-Pop realm. As a member of both groups, he has contributed to their astonishing achievements.

EXO has sold over 11 million cumulative albums since 2012 including 1 million copies of its first full-length album XOXO (2013) which contains the breakthrough hit “Growl”, making them the first million-selling Korean artist in 12 years.

SuperM made its debut in October 2019 in Los Angeles with their first mini-album ‘SuperM’ and became the first Asian artist to reach No. 1 on Billboard’s main chart, Billboard 200, with a debut album. The group further proved their global popularity with No. 1 spots on ‘Artist 100’, ‘Top Album Sales’, ‘Digital Albums’, ‘World Albums’, ‘Top Current Albums’, ‘Internet Albums’, and ‘World Digital Song Sales’.

As a member of two record-breaking groups, KAI is known as the “King of Performance” thanks to his dominating and charismatic stage presence. Back in November 2020, KAI made a successful debut as a solo artist with his first self-titled mini-album ‘KAI’ featuring a total of six tracks including title song ‘Mmmh’, receiving unparalleled response from fans all over the world immediately upon release.
