Bloomington, Indiana native Clint Carty is the multi-instrumentalist and producer behind Kaleidoscope Jukebox. During 2010, Clint released a handful of EPs and single tracks through his Bandcamp page. Within a couple years, he picked up remix work for Loopez ("Wachimanes") and Second Sky ("A Hundred Million Sounds"). More significantly, he entered a Thievery Corporation remix contest run by Dubspot and won; his submission, "Culture of Fear (Kaleidoscope Jukebox Remix)," was released toward the end of 2012 on 7" vinyl. The following year, Clint released the first Kaleidoscope Jukebox album, Infinite Reflection, on his own. The track "Melting Pot," as well as the title itself, exemplified Carty's approach to concocting relaxed grooves by mixing styles from all over the globe. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
