Kanchana Anuradhi, known as KANCHI, is a celebrated Sri Lankan singer and performer known for her powerful voice and genre-blending artistry. A First Class graduate in Music, she is trained in Hindustani classical, Western classical, and Sri Lankan folk, and is an “A” grade vocalist at SLBC.
She rose to fame in 2016 after winning the State Award for Best Traditional Folk Singer and the Vocalize Inter-School Competition. With over 50 original songs, her hits NADEN, UDURAWEE, DANENA TURU MA, ALEY MAL, and OPADA have earned widespread acclaim.
NADEN won Most Viewed Song of the Year (2022), ALEY MAL was named Most Popular Song of the Year (2023), and she received the Rising Star in Music award at the Business World International Awards.
In 2024, she became a Spotify South Asian Heritage Month Ambassador, with billboard features in New York, Toronto, and London, and won Most Popular Singer at the Abhiman Awards and Best Singer at the Asia’s Icon Awards. Her music video KALAREKA also received global recognition.
Kanchana is the brand ambassador for Nature’s Secrets and is launching the Kanchana Anuradhi Foundation, focused on youth, arts, and mental health.
Today, KANCHI stands among Sri Lanka’s most influential young artists, with an authentic voice and growing global presence.
