Karun is a Nairobi Based R&B/Soul singer, songwriter and music producer that has left a lasting impression on the Nairobi music scene through her decade long musical career.

Karun is a tour de force. She has made notable career strides such as being featured on Forbes Top 30 Under 30 Africa list (2019), won awards and nominations namely &#34;R&amp;B artist of the year&#34;  (Cafe Ngoma Awards) and Afrima (nomination) 2021, had her song <a href="spotify:track:7dXfehuS623BYS6PYBzoMm" data-name="Interlude (Sun)">Interlude (Sun)</a> featured in Fox TV’s “The Resident” (S02E12), and collaborated with multiple Brands.

Her career started serendipitously with the BET nominated hip-hop group <a href="spotify:artist:6b00EuvMNDvtBJ0iXez5Kf" data-name="Camp Mulla">Camp Mulla</a> in her early teens, but she has been on a her own steady trajectory since the group disbanded, crafting her sound and creating her own path.
