大和田 慧（Kei Owada） is a singer/songwriter based in Tokyo, Japan. 東京出身シンガーソングライター。ソウルミュージックとCarole KingなどのSSWの影響をルーツに、楽曲ごとに様々なストーリーをシネマティックに描く。東京を拠点にNY、LAでもレコーディングを行い、ソウルの殿堂アポロシアターのアマチュアナイトをTOP DOGまで進出。近年はMONDO GROSSOへの参加、NHKみんなのうた「まどろみ」や、「TERRACE HOUSE」でもフィーチャーされた「Closing Time」でも注目される。2019年、Jon Biron、 Shingo Suzuki(Ovall)、Michael Kaneko、小西遼（CRCK/LCKS、象眠る舎）、らを迎えたアルバム「シネマティック」をリリース。
2021年、コロナ禍で制作されたEP「LIFE」をリリース。宮川純プロデュース、荒田洸（WONK）、角田隆太（モノンクル）、吉田サトシ、越智俊介、伊吹文裕らが参加。ほか、作詞/作曲家として楽曲提供も行っており、作詞を担当したMONDO GROSSO「偽りのシンパシー feat.アイナ・ジ・エンド」はTBSドラマの挿入歌となる。

She has been performing throughout Japan and appeared in shows at well-known music venues in Tokyo including Billboard Live Tokyo, and in the US, she was received well at Apollo Theater's amateur night in New York. She was one of the featured artists in Shinichi Osawa's highly acclaimed project "MONDO GROSSO" in 2017. She recorded "MADOROMI" and "Closing Time" with Jon Brion in LA. She released new album "Cinematic" in 2019. "Closing Time" was featured in Japanese reality TV series “TERRACE HOUSE” #42 on Netflix.
