With a smooth yet powerful baritone flow, Kemo the Blaxican rose to prominence as the standout MC of Delinquent Habits, pioneering funk-infused bilingual hip-hop. As a solo artist, he has released critically acclaimed albums such as Simple Plan, Not So Rich & Famous, and Upside of Struggle, consistently pushing the boundaries of Latino hip-hop. Offstage, Kemo is a powerhouse entrepreneur, running Dead Silence Records, Joint Clothing, and successfully licensing his music for major TV, film, and commercial placements.

Kemo's new group, Negros De La Raza is the explosive new hip-hop duo featuring legendary MCs Sen Dog and Kemo the Blaxican. Bringing together raw lyricism, streetwise storytelling, and a bilingual flow that seamlessly blends English and Spanish, the group embodies the resilience and power of Latin hip-hop. Set to make their mark in 2025, Negros De La Raza is more than just a musical act - it’s a movement, a cultural revolution that redefines the genre.

As Delinquent Habits’ only Spanish-fluent MC, Kemo spent over twenty years with the group, and took the Delinquent sound beyond borders and around the world. In 1996 the group struck gold with their first single "Tres Delinquentes", a song that fused a traditional mariachi sound with a hip-hop backdrop. The sound was a breath of fresh air in a stale rap scene, and opened a creative doorway into which many other hip hop groups would follow.
