KIMBA SORZANO, as his aboriginal name suggests, is no less than a burning flame; blazing the trail wherever he goes, lighting your passion for music and crooning his way into your heart. Born in the Caribbean twin isle republic of Trinidad & Tobago; Kimba grew up in the town of San Juan, performing music throughout his elementary and high school days under the influence and subsequent guidance of both his parents.
Performing as a steeldrum/steelpan player and vocalist, Kimba also had an early venture into the art of writing and developed into a well revered songwriter today, priding himself on clever melodies and inventive lyrics. Having written most of his own material, Kimba has been afforded great opportunities to write for some of the Caribbean Music Industry's most formidable talents such as; Machel Montano, Michelle Xavier, Kes & JW & Blaze.
Poised to position the caribbean urban/pop/soca world on a platform like no other, Kimba works toward his debut EP with some of the industry’s brightest young talent in production and writing. With his unmatched sex appeal and cleverly charged lyrics, he already takes up residence in the hearts of women everywhere. Quite the package, he is unafraid to let us into his world.
