25-year-old Dublin born, London raised singer-songwriter Kitty blends emotive vocals with honest lyrics and pop hooks. Her introspective lyrics provide an honest and humorous insight into the life of a young, queer woman. With influences from Lianne La Havas to Lily Allen’s early work.
At age 19 she released her first EP entitled ‘Nights’ with songs such as ‘4 Days 4 Nights’ and ‘Girlfriend’ becoming fan favourites as the artist's quirky style and romantic melodies encourage fans to live authentically as themselves. With the former song featured on BBC Introducing London and featured on Spotify's Spanish Viral Top 50 Playlist.
Kitty has had a hiatus from releasing, she has been song writing and collaborating with other artists in the industry. She collaborated on Rowan Flack's new song ‘Tipsy on the Tongue’ which premiered on Notion and has ventured into toplining with the success of Higgo and Cortese’s song ‘Wild Enough’, which was featured on Kiss Radio.
May 2024 will see Kitty release her second EP ‘Swimming for Dummies’. She has spent the past few years curating a sound that honours her original music whilst progressing her productions into fresh indie-pop songs. Lyrically she expresses the development that comes with growing up and how navigating the unknown of adulthood is akin to learning to swim with no instructions. Kitty collaborated with producer SWO (previously producing Tom Grennan and Everything Everything) on this EP to bring her new sound to life.
