Kohana is a hard rock band from Greece.
Their music is a mix of grunge and stoner elements of rock, an explosive cocktail of raw and intense sounds. Their lyrics reflect on social inequality and uprisings around the world.
In 2022 they released their debut album "JAB" through Mantra Records. Some days after the release they had already performed with some of the biggest rock bands in Greece like Villagers of Ioannina City, Naxatras and lots more.
In the same year they released a Documentary-Video for their song Outtasync concerning social unrest and cop violence.
During the winter of 2023 they toured Greece by their own means, steadily building their very own fanbase across the country and beyond, selling their merchandise, T-shirts, CDs, Stickers and Vinyls.
Everything you see in their social media sites has been created in a totally DIY fashion.
They are constantly evolving with more and more people turning up in their shows. Fans are getting more hardcore, more excited and more engaged. A momentum is building up as the band keeps on putting itself in the map.
Next year, Kohana are set to perform in European venues taking their music beyond they're natal land. According to them "music knows no borders". A new release is also scheduled for 2024.
