Born and raised in Haiti, KOLO embarked on his musical journey in 2013, fueled by a deep connection to his culture, heritage, and the vibrant rhythms of Haiti. By 2016, he had exploded onto the DJ scene, captivating audiences in Port-au-Prince’s clubs and bars. His infectious sound soon spread beyond the capital, reaching cities like Cap-Haïtien, where he co-founded the energetic block party turned band Gwolobo with ManitoNation, Kabysh, Paul Beaubrun, and Ti Tanbou.
KOLO's talent soon caught the attention of legendary Haitian band Boukman Eksperyans. In 2022, he performed with them during Arcade Fire’s WE Tour across Europe, the US, and Canada, playing iconic venues such as the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Berlin, Zénith de Lille, Barclays Center in Brooklyn, and Bell Centre in Montreal.
His electrifying performances have also lit up major international stages, including the renowned BAYO festival, where he shared the spotlight with artists like Michaël Brun, Wyclef Jean, and J Balvin. KOLO has also energized the crowds at the House of Blues in Boston, Pier 17 in New York, and the underground collective Moonshine.
