Exploring the realms of post-metal, post-rock, and shoegaze, KUYASHII is the Atlanta-based solo project of visual artist Jonny Warren (aka the Double Wolf). With a wide spectrum of influences that includes Boris, My Bloody Valentine, Russian Circles, and Wolves in the Throne Room, the project began in the winter of 2017, with Warren experimenting with various writing and recording styles resulting in his first EP that was released in 2017. Warren then continued to refine his songwriting style, which led to the release of “Waves” in February 2019.
