Halfway between techno, neo-classical and film music, LAAKE weaves piano melodies and powerful rhythms together. The epic melodies played by the orchestra revolve around the machines.
Between luminous lyrical flights and hammered techno-classical hymns, the composer explores new horizons, experimental music, pop... Guided at times by a deep voice which speak of light and shadow, we abandon ourselves to the melodic void that LAAKE traces under his fingers.
After tackling a self-taught electronic symphony with "O", a debut album released in 2020 on Mercury records,
and two EPs released in 2015 and 2017, LAAKE returns with "VOLT", a vast and solar opus against the grain. (out on October 6 - SOMAA / Naïve records).
